Handsome She Was, And Well Beseene

Handsome she was, and well beseene, As fresh as any of them all, Her rament for the most part greene, Her stature good and meetely tall. Mounsier did take her by the arme And friendly entertained her, His countenance said he meant no harme, But well I wot he strained her, That (as lamenting her mishap) She cried perhaps she cracked too, Yet Mounsier would not leaue her lap For any thing that she could doo, This was a scholler by S. Anne, A ciuill, sober, honest manne.
